Try this..
Right click on your taskbar in a blank open area.
Go to Toolbars and uncheck the quick launch toolbar.... you won't lose
anything
Then right click again on your taskbar in a  blank open area
Go to Toolbars and check the quick launch toolbar again
This may fix it

or

Look for a gray vertical bar between your start button and you program
icons.
Move your cursor until it becomes a double arrow pointing left and right
Hold down your left button and drag it to the other side of your quick
launch icons
This might work also.
