Hi-
I have a problem, well really I suspect more than one. As I was
shutting down my computer, in the"Wait while your computer shuts down"
screen, I got the "blue screen of death" with the following message
"An exception OE has occurred at 0028:C54C8155 in VxD---, this was
called from 0028:C54C8153. It may be possible to continue normally"
It wasn't, I had to manually shut down, then waited a few seconds and
turned it back on. It booted up normally with no problems and I decided
to check my email, while trying to connect to my ISP, in the process of
dialing, I got the second "blue screen of death"
"An exception OE has occurred at 0028:C54C7667 in VxD Logger(03)*
0000015B. This was called from 0028:C54C7667 in VxD Logger(03) 0000015B"
After which I decided to do a step by step, from the boot-up screen(f8)
to check what was been loaded (or not loaded), and I got the following
"Cannot find a device file that maybe needed to run Windows or a Windows
application. The windows registry or SYSTEM.INI file refers to this
device file, but the device file no longer exists VDMID.386, and the
message repeated itself with VDMLBIOD.386, DISKAC.386, BIOSAC.386,
CS_VDB.386, and I might have missed a couple more.
I run a P166 W95a, 32mb of ram, any help you can give me will be greatly
appreciated;
Amado Pino
