Alan,

While remote access via the Internet is feasible, the chances of it actually
happening are extremely small.  **IF** (and that's a very small if) it is really
happening, then it is probably someone that  your friend knows very well.  Close
"friends" are usually the only people who have enough knowledge about you to be
able to successfully hack into your computer......

What is happening to your friend's system that makes him/her think that s/he is
being "hacked"?
