Hello!
I have found that scripts (and the scripting tools themselves) can cause a
lot of problems, more so in Win98 than in Win95. Can you log on in terminal
screen mode? (To turn on terminal screen mode, go into your modems
properties - through Dial-up networking!!! , choose the Options tab, then
put a check into the box that says "Bring up terminal window after
dialing".). Then stop your script from running. If you connect, the problem
is with the script or the scripting tool.

I'm having problems with my dial-up in Win98. About half the time it
doesn't work.
I have re-installed the provider's dialup script and reinstalled the
Windows part.
Typical message
Fatal exception in VXD LOGGER (03) + 000005E9
I have backed off my video resolution and speed.
Or - failure to negoiate with the provider
Or - failure at password
