If you are using Microsoft Word, you can use its built-in indexing utility.
The problem is that it will give you're a page number for every occurrence
of a word. You will need to manually (or womanually as the case may be ;)
select which page references and words are appropriate.

You can get instructions on using the index building capability by searching
for "create index" in Word help.

I have recently written a cookbook and would like to know the fastest,
easiest way to compile and index. Do you have any relevant information I
could use? Thank you for your time.
