Sounds like something I said, so here I go again.
It seems like you "tried" to record the CD properly
since the filenames and extensions show properly.
I "think" you are only able to "log" enough of the CD
filesystem to see the Table of Content, and when the
drive goes to seek the files, the seek fails.
Sometimes a different drive will be able to read a disk
like it was a "normal" disk. (If you are lucky.)
And sometimes a disk will "age poorly" and the files
might actually be unreadable...
First thing I'd do would be to try the disk on another computer,
and if I could read it I would copy it to a GOOD brand disk
ASAP... Finding a "good brand" of disk is another problem...
There are plenty of good ones, but what you see is not always
what you get... (TDKs are made by at least three different
companies, and have ranged from excellent to mediocre.)
