When you put a name in the BBC line , it will show up to the receiver or
receives as undislosed recipeint.. No, the person in the bbc line will not
see their name. I have outlook and that is how it works for me. I use the
bbc when I am sending something to a lot of people and you don't have to see
a jillion names before you can read email.
Have a wonderful sunday.

One would think that each blind copy receipient would see only his/her name
on the email. Unfortunately, there is apparently no way to do that (that I
know of).
What EVERY recipient of your email sees is whatever address you put in your
"TO:" address line. For this reason, if I want to ensure everyone else's
email address is secure, I put my own email address in the "TO:" line.
I have seen "<undisclosed recipient>" in the "TO:" line before, but I don't
know how this was done and I imagine some spam blockers would trash it.
If anyone knows a way to have an email present ONLY the BCC recipient's
address in the "TO:" line, I would love to know how to do this.

Hi to all,
I am not sure whether the following post is eligible (non computer
related? )but still posting.
"can someone tell me how an e-mail which does not contain my e-mail id in
the "TO" field land up in my inbox. asking because this is what I have
received and very obviously a malicious one. also is there a way to track it
down? "
