I routinely use the Win95 accessibility feature that sets a beep tone
whenever the Caps Lock or Num Lock keys are depressed. Being not that great
a typist I appreciate knowing when I have inadvertently hit the Caps Lock
in particular.

Recently I reinstalled Win95 and ever since then, I get no beep, only a
very feeble, almost inaudible click when I hit one of the offending keys. I
have tried re-installing the accessibility functions to no avail. I know
the sound card etc is fine since it works perfectly for any other wav file
or any other system associated sounds etc. I have searched in vain for some
hint of how to re associate the sound with the action, but can find none.

I miss my beep :) Can anyone help me get it back?

Thanks in advance.

Michael
