Thanks everyone for your help. One last question, what extensions to the
command can I use to close the player when the when the movie is finished
playing.

Some have asked me why I don't just use an authoring program?  It seems like
HTML is more than sufficient for simple navigation and accessing data, and
it's free and 100% portable. Am I missing something here?
