Using Outlook Express 5 (OE5) as my email client.

These folders were initially created in Netscape 4.5, then
exported/imported to OE5 after its release earlier this year.

Why do my folders in OE5 end in a .dbx filename? In vain, I've tried
searching for what .dbx stands for. I thought that OE5's mail folders
ended in .mbx and .idx. What happened?
-------------------------

I did a bit more searching (MSFT Article ID: Q201694) and found
that Outlook Express 5 uses .dbx mail storage files, and Outlook
Express 4.0 and 4.01 uses .idx and .mbx mail storage files.
So I guess I'm on the right track ======>
Hope this is useful info to other readers.
