Shirley,
If you have Internet access, try downloading this program:
http://chattanooga.net/~scochran/DBXtract.htm
It is a .DBX file viewer. I have not tried it, but it should help you to read the entire contents of
any file with a .dbx extension. You'll need to put your FOLDERS.OLD somewhere other then OE, and
rename it back to FOLDERS.DBX to use the program. Hope this helps.

Subject: [PCSOFT] Outlook Express Proablem
A couple of days ago I could not open Outlook Express (ver. 5.5). It would start to load and then
freeze. When I used "Alt, Control, Delete", it said the file MSIMN was not responding. After
uninstalling and reinstalling Outlook Express, I still could not open the program. I used the HELP
file for Windows ME and renamed the file FOLDERS.DBX to FOLDERS.OLD as the help file suggested. I
am now able to open Outlook Express but my messages did not show. When I looked in the WINDOWS
folder at the APPLICATION DATA I see the INBOX folder with my old messages. but I can not find a way
to open it. Is there a way to retrieve these messages? Thanks for any suggestions.
