Hello!
All Outlook information (with or without email) should be located in a
.pst file somewhere on your old HD. The reason that it didn't show up
in the new computer is that the path to the pst file (usually
outlook.pst) that the Outlook looks for is probably starting with a
c:\...\outlook.pst. As the path now would be d:\...\outlook.pst (as
your old drive is now D rather than C), Outlook can't find it. So it
creates a new past file that is clean.
So do a find for *.pst (in Windows explorer at the top of the D drive,
hit the F3 key on the keyboard). Once you find where the file lives,
open Outlook as you did before, then go to File/New/Outlook data file,
or perhaps new .pst file, or something like that depending on which
version of Outlook you have.
As an aside, strangely enough (at least in Outlook 2002),
doubleclicking on outlook.pst does not start Outlook. Windows (XP Pro)
does not recognize the file type. Outlook is not even listed in the
"open this file with program" list. Weird...
I hope this helps! Good luck to you!
Best, Will

"Well, lo and behold, the program loaded up by just clicking D:program
files/microsoft office/microsoft outlook, but no data was there . . .
just a clean program. I know the data's out there, but where? And,
how do I access it? That the program loaded up stunned me. How do I
go that final yard and get the data?
There are as many paths to reach God as there are people to walk them.
