Lori,
I had this same problem for over six months. I could not access secure
websites. A computer guru in India finally solved my problem. I had
installed Norton Personal Firewall. Even tho all settings were disabled, it
was keeping me from the secure websites. My guru had me uninstall Norton
Personal Firewall and all has been well since.
