Gerry, you should empty the temp. internet files through IE, not
through Windows Explorer.
I believe it's done by right-clicking the internet icon on the
desktop... something about "clear disk cache" or "clear temporary
internet files".
You probably can't see them in windows explorer but there are hidden
subfolders in "temp int.files" folder and they will rebuild the main
folder if you don't delete the cache properly. Don't ask me why.

Sorry but I don't have a copy of IE4 or 5 on hand to look up the
exact procedure for clearing the cache.
