PCBUILD and PCSOFT subscribers:

For nearly a week now messages to PCBUILD and PCSOFT
have been bouncing, mis-directed or lost in the ether of the
Internet. This is due to up-dates to our Listserv host at
St. John's University.

They performed their annual software upgrades to the server
and at the same time St. John's University redesigned their
networks, moving the Listserv server, Maelstrom, to a different
IP address. Since the Listserv server is behind a firewall to
prevent DoS, (Denial of Service), attacks, this has created
some issues.

As of this morning, the Listserv server has been functioning far
better than we have seen in about a week, with a zero loss of
messages for PCBUILD and PCSOFT. We still have some
reports of SMPT, (email sending), errors, though they are
very limited at this time.

Please understand that we have been attempting to do anything
and everything we can to insure that PCBUILD and PCSOFT
function flawlessly, but there have been problems. If you have
sent a message during the last week and it has not appeared or
your have not been contacted by a Moderator, please resend
the email. No one is being ignored... this has been a routing
issue and we hope now that it is completely cleared up.

Thank you for your patience... and thanks for making
PCBUILD and PCSOFT such a great success!!!
