once in awhile, actually weeks apart, during boot up I get a message "Out of Range"......black screen with 2" x 4" blue box with red lettering

Windows 98 SE  ATI software, Magnum/Xpert 128
AMD Duron 750
128 RAM

I have to use the reset button to restart, ctl-alt-del keys do not function and no cursor on the screen

I have searched the registry and all files for the words "out of range" and cannot find them

Thoughts?

Rebooting resolves whatever problem there was and then weeks will go by without the message reappearing.
