Presumably, when you are running XP, you want the program to run in XP.
When you are running Vista, you want the program to run in Vista.
Sounds like you've only installed it in XP.
Each system has its own registry, which contains the working instructions
for each installed program.
Whenever you "install" a program, the installation process writes many
instructions for that program into the registry.
Therefore you will also have to repeat the installation process in Vista.
