I have started using VirtualDub 1.6.11 for some video editing and processing
(recommended by Pinnacle!). When I recently tried to fix a partial avi file,
I got a message that it needed a Video For Windows codec (VFW) and that the
one with Windows Media Player will not work. Can someone recommend an
appropriate codec? There are so many out there that I don't know what to
chose. Preferably an open source freeware would be nice, but give me some
pointers please. The OS is Windows XP Pro with SP2 installed.
