Well, I have the option in Excel to save in the following Lotus 1-2-3
formats: *.wks, *.wk1, *.wk3 and *.wk4.

My preference would be to save from Lotus in the *.xls format, but I
have had very, very few problems both ways. The same experience with
Quattro Pro.
