Let me second Mavis Beacon. It plays to a wide variety of skills. I've
been typing for about 30 years and tried it one evening. Within the first
30-40 minutes it had accurately determined my typing speed, where I needed
improvements and designed personalized lesson plans. It also works well for
my 9-year old who is just learning.
