Thanks Bob, I tried both of your suggestions and no effect.  I even downloaded
an updated driver from the internet.  The C:\>  is a part of the "It's now
safe to turn off your computer." screen.  I tried to do a search for the text
but it was not found by the find files advanced with text as given.  I thought
the text would be in a text file somewhere in windows--must be in machine
language.
