Will,

Make sure that the jpg files are being opened as a "JPG" type. Sometimes
this setting can become corrupted. Since I use WinXP and havn't used 98 in
years I don't remember how to do it in Win98. In XP all you have to do is:
1] Open Explorer and click on TOOLS, FOLDER OPTIONS, FILE TYPES and make
sure that JPG files are being opened with the JPG or JPEG icon. If not
select from the list of registered file types.

Good luck.
