Could someone tell me why AVG Free Edition 7 changes four key files in my computer shell every time I run a scan???  The files are:

kernel32.dll
user32.dll
shell32.dll
ntoskrnl.dll

This is on a daily basis on a P4 machine with Win XP SP2.  Please reply directly to email address as I am not subscribed to the list and I'd really like an answer, please.
