I have two versions of Windows 98 - the one that came on my computer and a
different disk that I purchased from NEC later, because I'd been having
spontaneous shut-down problems and thought maybe a different disk would
help. (Didn't.) That second disk is different from the first one, in that
I received more on it. I got MS Works and some other things with it that I
didn't have with the computer when it was new. I thought the OS seemed
slightly different too, but now I'm not so sure. When I go to 'My Computer'
and into 'about Windows', it just says Windows 98 on both of them. Would it
say Windows 98SE somewhere on my system, if I have 98SE? If so, where? (I
never know which OS to say I have.)
