The new QB program automatically converts the invoice and sends via email,
using your Outlook contacts list. Try using your current version, we used
to do this from our earlier version.

In the customer tab, open a customer account and there is a section (perhaps
on the second tab) to enter an email address. Enter the info, then after an
invoice is prepared, before saving, or after saving, open the invoice, and
there is an icon on the top, an envelope. This is the link to email the
invoice, statement, etc. The same option is available for your vendor
section.

If this still does do what you want, you can purchase a program called Cute
PDF, $30 range. In this program, the conversion happens in the print
command option. Create and invoice, go to print, then you will have a drop
down option of which printer to use. After the program is installed, you
will have an option to print using Cute PDF. Use this option. The document
will be converted to pdf format. Save the new document. Now, you pull up
and send the document in pdf. This is also works for other documents
created in word, excel, etc.

Subject: [PCSOFT] Quickbooks to PDF?

Hi folks,
I am having a work flow problem. I use Quickbooks 2002 to keep books
for our small business. Our older customers I have always printed our
invoice from our computer to their fax machine. The new customers we
are getting are wanting an emailed invoice. So for them I have to print
the invoice, scan it back into the computer as a pdf, then attach the
pdf to an email. Can anyone think of a way that I can get around the
printing of the invoice. I'm willing to learn a new accounting program
if I need to.
Thanks in advance for any and all help.
