Linda,

Click TOOLS -- OPTIONS -- READ (tab) -- FONTS (button)
and make your selections.  Now click the MAKE DEFAULT button.

If that does not solve the problem you will need to UNinstall OE, delete
some registry entries (CURRENT USER\IDENTITIES) , and then reinstall it.
