How can I transfer my wife's Outlook 2003 data (appointments, e-mail,
contacts, etc.) from her desktop to her laptop? I need a detailed list of
steps. I've tried and failed, though I thought I was using the
export/import function correctly. It just doesn't work for me. I exported
outlook.pst to a flash drive and copied that file onto the laptop's desktop
screen, but can't get Outlook to import the file.

I should mention that her desktop runs WindowsXP and her new laptop runs
Vista. I'm wondering if Vista is the problem, as it didn't seem to warmly
embrace Office 2003 when installed. Security features seemed to label it an
"unknown program" which surprised me.
