I have a customer who as soon as she tries to get in to Internet Explorer,
it crashes. It brings up the IE window and has just an arrow - doesn't
load the page - for about 5 seconds. Then it has the hourglass beside the
arrow for another 5 seconds - still doesn't load the page. Then it comes
up asking if you want to send an error report to Microsoft. I say no, then
try it again, and it brings up the web page, but does the same identical
thing - just with the page up this time.
My attempts to fix - none changed it any:
I got on MSN Explorer and downloaded IE6 again from Microsoft
Tried changing the home page to about:blank
Deleted all files in c:\windows\downloaded program files
Removed all files under temp internet files
