I'd guess so.  Probably running out of memory. I suggest moving some of
that mail elsewhere, see if that fixes it.   You might then need to
reinstall Netscape to fix the problem.

Or you could get more memory installed.  Win 98 will take up most of your
RAM just to run.  You'd be better off with 95B/C with 32 Mb memory.
