I now have two computers - one with Windows98 and an old version of Microsoft Works (Word and spreadsheet)  and the new computer with WindowsXP and Microsoft Works 2004.  I need to share spreadsheet files between these computers.  However when I try to pull up a file saved on disc from the new computer (the file has a trailer of .xlr), the old computer will not pull up the file.  If I buy and updated version of Microsoft Works, will that solve the problem?  How can I share files between these computers?
