I tried asking MS for assistance and rec'd pointers to places I'd
already
been and advice I'd already tried.

Perhaps you all can help.





Hey Peggy:

I had a similar problem, but was getting a page fault message.  The fix
was going to the view menu and picture display, then choosing "Fast,
Resize, and Zoom", as opposed to, "Detailed Display."  The later seemed
to take too much memory and publisher would just kick it out when trying
to open a file, graphic, or clipart.
