Dear Marc,

If you are comfortable opening your computer case and poking around in it,
do the following;

1. Ground yourself to the chassis ( just touch it)
2.      Unplug the computer.
3. Three cables should be attached to the CD
                -power cable
                -ribbon cable
                -small coax audio cable
4. The small coax cable must be attached at the CD ROM and also must
be attached to your soundcard.

Regards,
Fred Hahnel

Subject: [PCSOFT] No sound from audios

Hi All,
I've discovered that I can no longer hear my audio CD's played on my system.
The hardware seems to be working properly, as the software CD's work as
normal, incl sound. The Win 95 CD player applet runs as normal with an audio
CD, I can see the time counter running and the appropriate light on the CD
drive reacts, but there's no sound.General Windows sounds work as normal.
