I recently upgraded from one Windows XP machine to another. The old one has
been formatted and assigned to another user. My old machine allowed me to
double-click in the middle of a word or string of numbers and select it. In
this case the desired word or numbers ended with a caret (^). The new
machine will continue selecting until it hits a space. For example, if you
have the character string
SERVICE: 1045^WORK: 9995551212^CELL: ^
and double clicked on the string of numbers, you would select 9995551212.
The new machine will select 9995551212^CELL:
Where can I change that setting?
Thanks!
Ron Jobe
