This problem is caused by the printer (or lack of) associated with the
document.  If the "generic" printer is set for the document it will allow
only the fonts that the "generic" printer can render.  Try setting the
printer to an attached printer that can print true type fonts and you
should see all the fonts re-appear.  I usually see this when the printer is
set to "ASCII".
