I can no longer view swf files. I recently had a complete overhaul on this computer, i.e. upgraded memory and speed RAM and a new larger capacity HD. I'm still using Win XP with SP3 installed on a Pentium 4 Processor. I've re-installed Adobe Flash Player along with Adobe Shockwave Player several times to no avail. I always un-install these programs first, then reboot before doing the re-installs. I've tried several offered solutions to this problem, going as far as trying to back into the swf URL to play the
file, and holding down the Cntrl key while opening, as someone suggested it could be my firewall blocking the file. Obviously none of these worked as I am now appealing to you for other viable solutions, short of sacking my computer and buying another! ;-)
