Subject: [PCSOFT] A new password question
I just bought an older Compaq DeskPro, running Windows NT, at an estate
auction. It booted up fine 'til I got to the password screen.
Obviously I can't ask the man for the password! -- he has gone on to his
Great Reward.
I want to get into this computer to see if it happens to have an early
version of AutoCAD on it, as I suspect. Motive: if it does, I can do some
layouts for the room additions I want to build, and "rearrange the
furniture" in cyberspace before I hire the boys over here to physically move
things around. Once I'm "in" I can and will delete any personal data the
gentleman may have left behind. Any ideas?
