hi everyone, i've got a strange windows problem that Ive just discovered.

I am unable to use any .jpg image as a windows desktop image.  my windows will only allow me to use .bmp images.  How do I fix this?  Here is my configuration:

pentium 3 700
200 mb ram
video driver: ati radeon 7000
monitor: dell e551a
windows 98 second edition

any other details?

any advice?
