When you right click on the IE icon go to
properties......connections...........setup.....(also make sure there are no
dial up connections listed in the box below setup and never dial a
connection is choosen). As set up progresses you will come to a screen that
asks how do you want to connect. Choose the LAN one and go from there.
That might fix it. If not you may have to re-set your setup in your router.
