I read your email call for help. Here's a three-step plan to reduce or
eliminate such problems.

1. Follow Heather Stratton's fine suggestions and get some programs like
Spybot and Zone Alarm to keep your computer clean (I use both of these
programs also).

2. It is important to configure these programs correctly and/or run them
when necessary.  They should best be running all the time, particularly
Zone Alarm which should be set to block any access you don't
authorize.  Even then you could mistakenly allow some spyware to have
access, thus the need for some program to get rid of spyware (like Spybot).
You can download them along with the help manuals (site access, online
manual or download) which you should read to learn how to configure. Do a
search to find the download websites.

3. The last step and most important. Have a serious talk with your grandson.
