Hi William,
Black Ice Defender can be found at www.networkice.com It is an online
purchase, no other way. I have it and have used it with my regular dial-up
until just last week when I got a DSL line. It is fairly easy to configure,
and does a good job of keeping all your ports blocked from prying eyes. I
believe it is $39. If you do purchase, just remember to print out your
receipt and proof of purchase as this has your serial number which allows
you to upgrade and re-download if need be. Be sure to check for upgrades
from time to time.
