I don't filter my email, and I get quite a bit of spam, which I forward to
Spam Cop. Today I received an email message with the subject !"#$ (obviously
spam) but no message, just an attachment named pbrush.zl9. I would like to
know if the attachment is a virus or some other evil, and I don't want to
open it to find out. I searched the CA virus information but couldn't find
anything similar, and a search on Google didn't turn up anything.
InnoculateIT (which I have installed on my computer) didn't give any
warning, but then again I don't want to try to open the file. Maybe this is
a new virus? How can I find out if the file is safe without opening it?

TIA,
David Landau
