Subject: [PCSOFT] Resolutions problem

> Hi friends,
> I tried to fix the resolution of the monitor screen to 640 x 480 so that
my 85 yr old friend can see and read better the program names on the
desktop. He did not like the new screen and wanted to go back to the old
screen with smaller words. I changed the resolution , but when tried to
press Apply or OK below on the screen, but to my surprise they were not
visible at the bottom. I tried to move the screen, but failed to make them
appear on the screen Now I cant go back to the original screen.

Paul,

If I'm understanding your problem correctly, you set your desk top too big?
If so, right click on the monitor in your tray and choose 800x600. Or, right
click on your desktop, choose 'properties', choose the 'settings' tab, then
move your 'desktop area' slider to 'more'. Hope this solves your problem.
