Recently suffered many problems with my computer, one of them being that a
message "insufficient memory", or some such thing, popped up, not once, but
twice during bootup. The most significant event before this started to occur
was that I had loaded McAfee VirusScan 6.0.

At someone's suggestion, I pulled memory and reseated it, but that didn't
resolve. However, as noted in previous email, I used Windows Remove Program
function to take a lot of unused programs, including VirusScan, and the
"memory" problem at bootup has cleared up. Could have been other issues, but
it sure looks like VirusScan was the culprit.

It caused me a lot of problems, including inability to use IE.

Thought I would share.
