I always thought the "program".exe errors
were generated when Windows was "parsing"
a pathname in sort of a "dos" way, (using a long
filename path by "mistake" when it should have
been using a short filename path instead),
and choked when it got to the space in the file path.
May not be much help to the original question,
(unless they have a "player" directory),
but any comments or corrections?
