John Dent asked:-
Does anyone know how to copy file titles from Windows Explorer so
I can sort the file titles in Word or Excel etc.

To copy a single file name/title from Windows Explorer select the file
with a click, then about a second later (it shouldn't be a "double
click") click again on the actual name. Just the text is then
highlighted and pulses. Windows expects you to change the name
however using the keyboard shortcut <CTRL c> you can COPY the
text of the file name and paste somewhere else.

If you want to do this on a large scale then one of the "Print
Directory/Folder" utilities is the best bet. I use "DirPrinting" from
