Ian,
I know you said you tried it, but you should be able to import the other
users Outlook pst files by selecting File, Import and Export, Import from
another program or file, then select pst file and browse to the location of
the old file.

Subject: [PCSOFT] Outlook in Win2K problem
A customer is on a networked Win2K PC and she uses Outlook for mail.
This desktop PC was previously used by another staff member. She has been
using his logon details to get into the machine, where she had set up a mail
account. Kind of a 'cuckoo' sort of arrangement, if you know what I mean.
However, she wanted her own unique 'patch' so I set her up with her own
login, password and mail account, using the details from her 'cuckoo'
account. Problem is, all of her previous stuff is in the folders of that
account.
How can I move her the contents of her Outlook folders to her new location?
I assume that the relevant folders will be called outlook.pst. I found
three on the pc, in various sub-folders of C:\Documents and Settings, one of
142mb, one of 15Mb and one of 112k.
I suspect that the 142mb belonged to the previous user, the 15mb is probably
the one she's been using since she took over the PC, and the 112k file is
probably the one I set up today.
How can I transfer her stuff from it's old location to the new? Or is it
just as simple as copying the contents of the 15mb pst folder to the 112k
pst folder?
I'm no expert at this (as will be obvious:--)) but I tried the 'Import'
thing. That doesn't work, there's no option to import pst files that I
could see.
