Hello,

        I would like to change the Short Date and Long Date from the default
but every time I reboot the date has returned back to the default.

        I am changing the date in the Regional Settings in Control Panel.  Is
there another place?

        Do I have to resort to the (gasp) registry to make my change?  If I do,
where?

        Any help would be appreciated.
