I am running Win2k and used task manager to kill IE. When the IE process was
killed, then all IE windows closed - not exactly what I wanted, but it did
get rid of the porno stuff. I also tried a freeware utility called WinKill.
This little program places an icon in the system tray. When you click on the
icon, your cursor changes to a crosshair shape. Any window you click on will
then be killed. The problem was that while that particular process was
terminated, it did not stop the opening of two or three new IE windows - the
behavior that I was trying to avoid.
At this point I have not found a solution, but will be looking into it
further. My knowledge of html and java, VB, and scripting is sufficient to
do analysis of the code, but I hoped that someone already had a solution. I
will post to the list if I find something out.

I've found that if you close one IE Window using Ctrl-Alt-Delete it closes
them all and shuts down IE completely. Maybe ...
May not work for everyone while using IE but it's worth a try.

The Task Manager only allows you to shut down one process at a time.
Then you must CTRL+ALT+DEL again.
How are you able to halt the multiple window openings?
