I must have missed the first post of what the problem is.  I have an Aceropen
FM34PVS modem that I have been pretty happy with.  I don't have very high
connect speeds, but I blame that on the phone lines of the old house I live
in.  Also I have not found any info for positive, but I read it is flash
upgradeable to 56k.  Let me know if I can try and help.
