First of all, do you have an anti virus program and a
spyware remover? If not then go to www.grisoft.com and
get their free anti virus program and then download
Ad-aware from here

There could possible be a virus, trojan, or worm
running in the background that is sucking up
processes, or there could be spyware running in the
background. Try these two programs first.
